HOMEMADE BREAD

Ingredients

 

  • ½ liter of water
  • ¼ cube of yeast
  • tea spoon sugar
  • 400 grams of whole wheat, rye or oat flour, or mixture
  • 2 teaspoons olive or grape seed oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt

Preparation

Let the yeast dissolve in lukewarm water with sugar. Add flour, and knead about 5 minutes, until the dough starts separating from the bowl. Let rest, and knead over again, setting it aside for a few more minutes. Knead over finally, and shape a loaf. Bake in an oven heated to 220oC, then reduced to 200oC, for 20 to 35 minutes, on a greased baking sheet.
